2. Do I need to pack my own MiniKub?

Yes, packing your own MiniKub enables you to save the expense of a packing team to pack and load at your residence. This is a significant cost savings over traditional moving options.

3. I don't see an option to select origin or destination cities, just Flat Rate Shipping for domestic and international locations. What does this mean?

MiniKub offers FLAT RATE shipping for each of our container sizes. So whether you're moving from California to Florida or Texas to New York, you know exactly how much your container will cost. We also offer the same easy pricing for our international services.

4. How soon will my MiniKub arrive?

Most shipments within the continental USA are delivered within 3-5 working days. International destinations typically deliver within 7-10 working days. Services to some destinations may take longer.

5. What do I do if my shipment goes missing?

All MiniKub orders include $1,000 of total loss coverage. You can purchase additional $1,000 blocks of coverage for an additional $12 per $1,000. In the event your shipment goes missing, you would be reimbursed for the total insured value of your items.

6. What if items are broken during transit?

Because MiniKub is a self-pack service, we do not offer coverage for damage incurred during transit. Instead, we include $1,000 of total loss coverage and additional coverage is available at $12 per $1,000 of additional coverage. Please keep this in mind when deciding which items to pack in your MiniKub.

7. If my shipment is delayed, can I pressure my HR department or relocation management company to make MiniKub refund my shipment or pay per diem expenses?

No. MiniKub is a low cost, basic moving service for personal effects. Shipping delays may occur due to factors outside of our control. 

8. Whose responsibility is it to ensure all items packed in my MiniKub are used personal effects and no contraband such as illegal drugs, weapons, pornography or other restricted items?

It is YOUR responsibility to know what you can import into a foreign country. Note: you may not ship alcohol, illicit drugs or weapons in any MiniKub regardless of destination. Think of it like you are packing your luggage for an international flight. If you pack contraband into your luggage, it is not the fault of the airline, or the online booking platform used to purchase your ticket.
