Price

What is the price for shipping my personal items?

We offer flat rates based on your country of origin and destination.

What does the price include?

Our flat rate per container includes:

  • A brand-new MiniKub container delivered to your door
  • Pick-up of your packed container at the origin location
  • Shipping to your destination
  • 24/7 online tracking

Does the price include packing materials?

No. You’ll need to provide your own packing materials.

Is the price the same if I ship to different places within the same country?

Yes. We offer flat rates per country of origin and destination. The price remains the same for shipments within the same country, regardless of city or state.
(Exceptions apply when shipping from/to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.)

Are there any additional fees I should know about?

When shipping personal items internationally, each destination has its own import regulations. It’s important to review the import rules of your destination country before shipping.

Packing

Do you offer different sizes of containers?

Yes. MiniKub containers are available in 3 models to fit a wide range of moving needs:

How much can I pack inside each container?

Squares and Trunks hold up to 100 lbs, roughly the equivalent of two large suitcases. The Freight cube holds up to 500 lbs of packed items.

Can I ship my own boxes with MiniKub?

No. MiniKub shipments must use our proprietary containers, designed for safety and consistency.

Can I ship furniture with MiniKub?

MiniKub containers are built for smaller personal effects and may not fit large furniture pieces.

Can I pack fragile items?

Yes — but careful packing is essential. Our containers are engineered to protect your belongings from rough handling, but items should still be wrapped and cushioned properly.

How can I assemble my container?

Are the containers waterproof?

Not fully. However, you can make them water-resistant by using plastic stretch wrap or kitchen plastic wrap around the exterior.

Are there any items I cannot ship?

Yes. You cannot ship items prohibited by federal, state, or local laws in the origin or destination country. Visit our Packing Tips for a complete list of prohibited items.

Shipping

How long does it take to ship my personal items with MiniKub?

Here’s what to expect when you ship with MiniKub:

  • 3–6 business days: You’ll receive your container(s) after placing your order.
  • Flexible packing time: Take as long as you need to pack.
  • 2 business days: Minimum notice to schedule a pickup.
  • Up to 10 business days: Estimated delivery time after pickup.

Note: Events such as customs delays, weather, or natural disasters may affect shipping times.

How are my items transported to the destination?

MiniKub ships through trusted carrier partners such as FedEx, DHL, and others. Domestic shipments (within the U.S. or Canada) typically move by ground transport, while international shipments are sent via air freight.

Are my items delivered to my door?

Yes, delivery is door-to-door whenever possible. However, managed apartment complexes or secure buildings may require delivery to a mailroom or designated area. Please ensure access codes or entry details are provided.

Where can I ship my items?

We offer shipping from the USA to both domestic and international destinations. Visit our Order section for the full list of available countries.

Can I track my items during shipping?

Absolutely. Every MiniKub shipment includes 24/7 online tracking via our carrier partners. You’ll receive a tracking number when your shipping label is issued.

What if I don’t know my exact moving date?

No problem. When placing your order, simply choose the number of containers you need, along with the origin and destination countries. You’ll then have up to 60 days to schedule pickup and ship your packed containers.

Can I select a different destination for each container?

Yes. Each container is processed, priced, and shipped individually. You can assign a different destination and pickup date for each one when requesting your shipping labels.

Can I select a different pickup location or date for each container?

Yes. When requesting a shipping label, you can choose:

  • Origin address (pickup location)
  • Destination address (delivery location)
  • Pickup date (preferred pickup day)

How do I ship my packed containers?

Once packed, request a Shipping Label and choose your pickup date. Your carrier will arrive at the selected origin address for pickup.

What paperwork is required to ship with MiniKub?

For each container, MiniKub provides a shipping label. You’ll need to supply the following details:

  • Order number
  • Origin and destination addresses
  • Primary and alternate contacts
  • Contact at origin and destination
  • Packing list
  • Valid government ID (driver’s license or passport for international shipments)
  • List and photos of packed items
  • Estimated item value

What paperwork is required for international shipping?

Each country has unique customs documentation requirements. Refer to our Country Guides for specific paperwork instructions for your destination.

What happens to the container after my move?

Once you’ve unpacked, the MiniKub containers are yours to keep and reuse. Check our Packing Tips to learn how to disassemble and store them for future use.

Protection

Are my self-packed goods insured during shipping?

Each MiniKub shipment includes protection for loss or total damage up to $1,000 in value. You can purchase additional value protection if desired.

What happens if my container is lost during shipping?

If your container is lost or destroyed in transit, you can file a claim with MiniKub. A valid tracking number and confirmation from the carrier are required.

What if my items are damaged during shipping?

If damage occurs, submit a claim with your tracking number and photographic evidence of both the container and the damaged items. MiniKub will assist you through the claims process.
